What is ADAS calibration?

ADAS calibration ensures that the sensors which collect data that is used by your car’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are aligned and are aiming accurately. This data informs systems such as the automatic emergency braking system (AEB), the lane departure warning system (LDW) and the forward collision warning system (FCW), and tells the sensors exactly where to point.

When your car first comes out of the factory, the ADAS sensors are set precisely in the correct positions, but over time, situations occur which can put them out of alignment. For example, if you have the windscreen replaced or even minor collisions or parts being replaced.
